Who We Are
Since 1966, Internship & International Opportunities (formerly titled Internship & Study Abroad) has helped over 20,000 Bruins get relevant work experience in the U.S. and abroad. Students rely on us to find internships in the greater Los Angeles area, Sacramento, Washington, D.C., and other U.S. cities. We also connect you to international programs in over 30 countries. Our staff of professional counselors advises about 4,000 students each year.
How We Work
Our office gives students the tools to pursue an independent work experience or a international program outside the UC system. We also help students earn stipends (applicable to Washington D.C. and Sacramento only), find paid positions, and source scholarships to achieve their goals. A majority of our student clients are looking to learn directly through real-world experience.
Who We Serve
We work with UCLA students in all majors, from first-year to PhD. The main requirement for most of our programs is your own motivation.
Where To Find Us
Internship & International Opportunities is located in Room #200, as part of the UCLA Career Center, inside the
Strathmore Building. Our center is directly above the Parking Office. We are open 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, and welcome your visit. Please call our main line at 310.825.0831 to make an appointment or to confirm a counselor's drop-in hours.
