The source of this data and that included in the other charts is the Association of American Medical Schools (AAMC). Acceptance Ratios are shown by Overall Application GPA and combined score for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) [latest score used in case of multiple test dates]. For example, in the 2008 application year, 15 UCLA seniors applied with a GPA of 3.90 or higher combined with an MCAT score of 35 or higher. Of those 15 applicants, 12 of them (or 80%) were accepted into at least one medical school.
