For your convenience you may want to mail or ship these materials ahead of time to:

    UCLA Career Center
    Cynthia Hall

    Los Angeles, CA 90095-1573

Attn: APSIA, International Affairs Graduate School Fair

We will have your materials ready for you to set-up in the Second Floor Lounge when you arrive. Due to limited storage space, please ship materials to arrive no earlier than the week prior the event.

WHEN TO ARRIVE

Please plan to arrive on campus by 3pm to allow ample time to park, check in, and organize your exhibit space.

HOW TO GET TO UCLA

UCLA is located in Westwood, approximately ten miles north of the Los Angeles International Airport. During rush hour, allow a minimum of 45 minutes travel time. The UCLA campus is bordered by Sunset Boulevard (north) and Wilshire Boulevard (south), adjacent to Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway).

Directions to the UCLA Campus via I-405 Freeway (Northbound and Southbound)

1. Exit on Wilshire Boulevard East (the preceding exit ramps are Santa Monica Boulevard if you are approaching from the south; or Sunset Blvd. if approaching from the north).

2. Continue a few blocks to Westwood Blvd. (the first street past Gayley Avenue). Get in the left turn lane.

3. Turn LEFT on Westwood Blvd. and proceed several blocks to the UCLA campus entrance. It is located just past LeConte Avenue. (At this point Westwood Boulevard becomes Westwood Plaza).

4. Continue northbound on Westwood Plaza, past the UCLA Medical complex on the left. Pass through the traffic signal at Charles E. Young Drive South. (Get in the left lane)

5. Stop at the Parking Information booth on your left. Identify yourself to the attendant as a Graduate Admissions Recruiter for the International Affairs Fair and give them your name and the name of your school. There will be one complimentary parking permit per school. The attendant will provide you with a parking pass to display on your windshield.

6. Park in the area designated by the attendant (either lot 6, 8, or 9). If you have materials with you, please bring your own handcart so that you can move them to the Ackerman Union Building.

* If you are coming directly from LAX, count on a 45-60 minute drive depending on the traffic at that time.

* A map of UCLA can be viewed at www.ucla.edu/map. The Ackerman Union Building is in the Northeast section and located on the map at E4.

WHAT TO BRING

You are encouraged to bring brochures, pamphlets and other recruiting materials. We will provide a tabletop ID sign, but you may wish to bring your own sign or banner that can be attached to your six-foot table. Please note: electrical outlets will not be available, nor will backdrops and screens.

WHERE TO CHECK IN

When you enter the Ackerman Union Building, take the elevator to the second floor.  After you exit the elevator, you will see signs directing you to the Second Floor Lounge. Staff will be waiting to welcome you at the Lounge's entrance. Name badges and space assignments will be given to you upon your arrival.

We look forward to seeing you and please do not hesitate to email us at chall@career.ucla.edu or call us at 310.206.1940 if you have any questions.
