Career Week, April 24-28, May 3, 2006

Some students may be under the impression that careers build themselves. Well...unfortunately, they don't. Each of us is responsible for developing our own careers and the good news is we're here to help you! Career Week 2006 will give you so much inspiring knowledge. You won't be the same after this experience.

We are all like actors on a stage working through each step...and in the background, there are scenes being played out. This year, Career Week will focus on the things that go on behind the scenes of your career – the opportunities, the situations, the skills, and the people that are integral to helping you get your career off the ground.

What exactly is Career Week? It's an annual, week-long event sponsored by the UCLA Career Center. Career Week is designed to provide career development information through a series of workshops, panels, and presentations; create excellent opportunities for students to network, discover skills, and learn job search strategies; help students gain a glimpse into the working world; and present career and industry trends.

Check out the exciting free programs in store for you each day.  Space is limited, so be sure to register online today.
Attendance is limited to currently registered UCLA students.  We'll see you there!
